Get Grilling with PTF!

Here’s our lineup of burgers from our menu. We’ve also got some tips to help you become a master grillmeister.

These are two of our favorite burger patties – our Italian Turkey Burger and The Swiss Onion Chicken Burger. Try these juicy, tasty additions to our menu.

Swiss Onion Chicken Burger

Not just an alternative to beef, these patties are filled with the tastes of golden caramelized onions and smooth Swiss cheese. Just the right jumping off point for burgers that welcome any condiment or side. Keep these burgers on hand as part of the weeknight supper team or for weekend cookouts.

“The Chicken Burger – the mild flavors of Swiss and caramelized onion are a perfect complement to this tender, juicy patty!” – Jessica C.

“Loved the chicken burger. Moist and flavorful but not overwhelmed with added flavors. It would be great wrapped in a lettuce leaf with some guac or slices of avocado and red onion.” – Teresa C.

Italian Turkey Burger

Take these rich, garlicky turkey patties and bring the taste of Italy to your kitchen table. Loaded with roasted red and green bell peppers and Italian spices, these low fat, juicy burgers are a great twist on a traditional favorite.

“The Italian Turkey Burger has a great blend of Italian spices and garlic. Each bite was nice and juicy full of flavor.” – Jake K.

“Great taste and good portion size!” – Eric M.

Don’t forget the rest of our PTF grilling line up:

Three Simple Grilling Tips

Ready to become a master griller? Here are three tricks every griller should know.

Tip #1 – Get It Hot
Preheat your grill 15 minutes before you start cooking to make sure it reaches the right temperature. Your grill should be 400-450°F for high, 350-400°F for medium-high, 300-350°F for medium and 250-300°F for low heat. A properly heated grill sears foods on contact, keeps the insides moist and helps prevent sticking

Tip #2 – Oil It Up
Even on a clean grill, foods may stick when placed directly on the rack. Reduce sticking by oiling your hot grill rack with a vegetable oil-soaked paper towel: hold it with tongs and rub it over the rack. (Do not use cooking spray on a hot grill.)

Tip #3 – Brush It Off
It’s easier to remove debris when the grill is hot, rather than when it is cold. So after preheating, use a long-handled wire grill brush on your grill rack to clean off charred debris. Scrape again immediately after use.
Now fire up that grill and enjoy!
